Excellent beginner plant or as a statement piece in a thriving collection.  Snake plants, also known as mother in-law's tongue, thrive in a variety of conditions. Technically a succulent, these sharp snake like leaves will appear butter yellow with shaded green accents throughout. 

Care

Grow it in a well-draining potting mix or soil with good aeration. Water well in the growing season. But avoid over-watering or soggy soil; it makes Sansevieria vulnerable to root-rot and other fungal diseases
