Originating from Mexico and Central America, Caput Medusae, aptly named for the leaves that take a similar shape to that of Medusa's hair, is one of my favorites.

CARE

They can bloom depending on how much light they get.  High light will produce blood red bracts and low light will produce green bracts. You will be rewarded with a show of light purple flowers.

Ideal for both indoors or outdoors.

It's very adaptable, but does best in strong indirect light.

Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary.
