Corpuscularia lehmannii - Ice Plant
"Ice Plants" cover a vast number of plants, but these have a particularly distinctive form. Their angular, three-sided leaves are extremely fleshy with a smooth, blue-green skin. You will find yourself wanting to pet them. In the wild, they grow in rocky crevices in South Africa and have a deep taproot to endure full sun and periods of drought. They bloom in the Spring/Summer growing season with large, many-petaled flowers of butter yellow. The blooms open in the morning and close in the evening.
Your plant may or may not be blooming at the time of shipment. Plant is featured in a 4” pot and you will receive a similar plant shipped semi-bare root.
