Hey plant peeps! Welcome to May’s subscription plants I found three adorable plants that will add some greenery and charm to your home. Let's dive into the world of Pachyphytum compactum “Little Jewel”, Mammillaria criminal ssp leucantha, Lithops, and Crassula Ovata “Baby Jade”

Pachyphytum Compactum “Little Jewel”

This succulent is native to Mexico and is a great addition to any succulent collection. Its leaves are a beautiful blue-green color and grow in a rosette shape, making it look like a little jewel. Pachyphytum compactum “Little Jewel” is best suited for hardiness zones 9-11 and thrives in bright indirect light. It's important to let the soil dry out completely before watering to prevent overwatering, and a well-draining soil mix is recommended. This plant is pet-safe, so you don't have to worry about any furry friends getting sick.

Mammillaria Criminal Ssp Leucantha

Mammillaria criminal ssp leucantha is a cactus species that is native to Mexico. It is known for its unique spines and cute flowers that bloom in the spring. This plant is best suited for hardiness zones 9-11 and thrives in bright direct light. Mammillaria criminal ssp leucantha is not pet-safe, so keep it out of reach of curious pets.

Crassula Ovata “Baby Jade”

Crassula Ovata “Baby Jade” is a small shrub native to South Africa. It is a popular houseplant due to its ease of care and cute round leaves that resemble jade coins. This plant is best suited for hardiness zones 9-11 and thrives in bright indirect light. It's important to let the soil dry out completely before watering to prevent overwatering, and a well-draining soil mix is recommended. Crassula Ovata “Baby Jade” is pet-safe, so you can enjoy it without worrying about your pets.

Finally, our little freebie is a little South African native, lithops. Unfortunately they can be a little fussy if you over water. Keep these guys in a very gritty mix, they enjoy sun and water after they split and again while they are blooming.

I hope you enjoy these additions to your collection!

Happy Planting!!
